Purchasing a Phone Number

Telephony Setup

Cogmento allows you to purchase a phone number within your country. Once acquired, you can use this number to make and receive calls directly through your browser.






Telephony Setup

If you require more than one phone number, Cogmento supports purchasing multiple numbers. A selector at the top of the screen lets you choose the active number for outgoing calls.


Making and Receiving Calls

After setting up your telephony, you can call any contact with a valid phone number by clicking on the phone number or the phone icon. If you have multiple numbers, you can select which number to use for the call. All calls can be recorded and saved for future reference, although recordings may take a moment to become available after the call ends.


Sending SMS and Campaign Integration

By purchasing a mobile number, you also gain the ability to send SMS messages directly from the CRM. This feature extends to your marketing campaigns, allowing you to incorporate SMS communication seamlessly into your strategy.


Charges and Telephony Balance

Phone calls and SMS messages incur charges per call or message. You can continue making calls and sending SMS as long as you maintain a sufficient telephony balance. Your balance updates with each call or message, enabling you to monitor usage and costs effectively.


Managing Telephony Expenses

To track the cost of each call, navigate to the Billing Manager under the Settings section of Cogmento CRM. Here, you can view a detailed breakdown of your telephony expenses, helping you manage costs more efficiently.


Telephony Status Indicator and Dial pad

An indicator at the top header of the screen shows the current status of the telephony system. When a call is active, a dial pad becomes available, allowing you to send digits to the other participant during the call.


By integrating these features, Cogmento CRM provides a comprehensive solution for managing your business communications, enhancing both efficiency and productivity.
